About the project

Flow Weaver needed a full-funnel launch strategy that would build early buzz, acquire new players, and sustain long-term sales momentum for an indie VR game entering a competitive market. A three-phase marketing approach was developed — pre-launch, launch, and post-launch — each with its own distinct objectives and tactics designed to build awareness, drive conversions, and retain a dedicated player base over time.

Pre-Launch: Ran targeted test campaigns to identify the most responsive audience segments, gather demographic insights, and generate early excitement around the game ahead of its Oculus release

Launch: Executed a comprehensive 360-degree advertising strategy across Google Display Network, Discovery Feed, Facebook, and Instagram incorporating A/B testing, remarketing, new user acquisition, and engagement boost campaigns to refine targeting and maximize conversions at launch

Developed multiple call-to-action campaigns across the funnel, including newsletter signups, add-to-wishlist prompts, and a playable web game to capture interest at different stages of the buyer journey

Leveraged wishlist audiences as a high-intent retargeting pool at launch, converting warm audiences into buyers within the first week and strengthening campaign recall and retention

Post-Launch: Maintained sustainable Oculus app ad campaigns to generate a consistent and steady flow of game sales throughout the remainder of 2021, keeping Flow Weaver relevant and discoverable to new audiences long after launch
